New Hyde Park Village Working on Getting FEMA Funds

This money could potentially be used to help pay for snow removal costs incurred this winter.

The is working on securing some FEMA funds which would go toward some of the costs incurred by this winter's snow and its removal.

There could potentially be $68,000 in FEMA funds, explained Mayor Daniel Petruccio.

"There were some unexpected expenses from the snowstorms this past year," Petruccio said at Tuesday's Village board meeting."It looks like it's going to help us in a time when we really could use those funds."
