Nicolello Wins 9th Legislative District Race
Earns 10th term with 68 percent of the vote.
Richard Nicolello, R-New Hyde Park, won the race to represent the 9th Legislative District on Tuesday, taking 68 percent of the vote.
According to the Nassau County Board of Elections, Nicolello tallied 9,674 votes to Democrat Delores Sedacca, who picked up 4,527 votes.
Nicolello ran on the Republican, Conservative and Independence ticket for his 10th term as Nassau County legislator.
