Officials Promote Autism Run/Walk

Local leaders build buzz about upcoming 4th Annual Blazing Trails 4-Autism Four-Mile Run/Walk.

When it comes to building awareness and helping to generate funds to help those with awareness, local officials are getting right into the mix.

Case in point: New York State Sen. Jack Martins, Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel and Nassau County Leg. Judi Bosworth. The three are promoting the upcoming 4th Annual Blazing Trails 4-Autism Four-Mile Run/Walk.

The event takes place on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 9:30 a.m. with the start and finish at Great Neck South High , located at 341 Lakeville Road in Great Neck.

Proceeds go to the Eden II and Genesis Foundation. The organization supports children and adults with autism through specialized programs to help them achieve the highest possible quality of living.
