Polling Site Changes Announced for Aug. 1 Vote

Nassau Board of Elections says they are notifying voters via mail if changes affect them.

In order to accommodate summer schedules for the special election on Aug. 1, the Nassau County Board of Elections has changed 24 locations.

However, only voters who regularly vote at these locations will be receiving a postcard indicating the change.

"The commissioners stressed that these changes were not permanent and that voters can expect to return to their usual voting places for the fall elections," read a July 26 press release issued by the board.
