Town of North Hempstead Notebook: Pool Reopening
Here are some things happening around the Town.
The Manorhaven pool will have a grand opening pool party on June 25 which will include music, prizes and a steel band orchestra. There will also be swimming for free at the pool for a week, according to a spokesman.
Becoming a Doctor for a Day
Eighty 3 year old Irene Borovoy from Bayside will be learning how to use the da Vinci Robot for surgical procedures as well as 10 other women on Monday at North Shore at the Women’s Comprehensive Health Center in Manhasset. These ladies had surgery performed with the use of this robot.
