The held its regular August meeting on Tuesday after a about as it's known in the area the old "Verizon building." If you missed the meeting, here are some highlights:
- The street fair will be on September 17. The New Hyde Park Museum will have a set up in Marcus Christ hall.
- Deputy Mayor Robert Lofaro noted that a new dump truck has been ordered. He added that the Village did not buy much equipment last year because of budgetary constraints.
- Asbury Park, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band, will be performing at Memorial Park on Aug. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
