Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth recently presented the Nassau Legislative Student Citizenship Award to Senior Jenna Madonna during the school’s Senior Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 25.
“Jenna truly exemplifies the qualities of civic-mindedness and leadership that this award is intended to celebrate,” Legis Bosworth said in a statement. “I am so pleased to be able to honor her at this awards ceremony for all she does for her community.”
Bosworth has presented the Legislative Student Citizenship Award for the past 4 years to deserving Herricks seniors.
She also presented the Medal of Merit to Anant Kharode on behalf of Congressman Gary Ackerman.
The medal is given to a student who has a strong record of service to the school and the community and has above average academic standing.
