For the past 4 years, the Center Street School in Herricks, has participated in the Bucket Filler Program, an interactive character education program.
This year the school hopes to take this philosophy to a new level in all grades.
The goal is to encourage students to become more aware of how powerful words can affect our minutes, our days and our lives in either positive or negative ways.
Students will learn that their thoughts become words, words become actions, actions become habits, habits become character and character becomes destiny.
