Students at New Hyde Park's Denton Avenue School celebrated Earth Day on Thursday.
Joining them were North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink, and Councilman Peter Zuckerman.
During the “Earth Day Birthday” celebration students were presented with a gift of books about the environment for the school’s library.
