Denton Avenue School Celebrates Heritage Week

Parents and guest presenters create authentic cultural experiences.

Heritage Week provides a unique opportunity for Denton Avenue students, parents and staff to explore the rich diversity of the cultures represented in the Denton School community by way of  dozens of interactive workshops.

Through the lens of the cultural arts – music, dance, art, and literature – children learn about each other’s cultures and take pride in students’ shared American culture.

Parents and guest presenters from the Herricks Community teamed up with our staff to create these authentic cultural experiences.
