First grade language immersion students at the in Herricks recently had a special guest speaker: Caridad D’Ambrose, the mother of their teacher, Ms. Carrie D’Ambrose, who came to speak to the children about the feast of The Three Kings.
The classes learned that on January 6, people in Spain and many South American countries celebrate the feast of The Three Kings, with children leaving a wish list in their shoes and waiting to see if they will be visited by The Three Kings.
