Denton Students Participate in Educational Mystery Skype Call
Third graders use geography skills to locate peers in Oregon.
Denton technology integration teacher Christine Southard worked collaboratively with Marie Anthi Glykos' third grade class by helping the students participate in a Mystery Skype call with another class located somewhere in the world.
The classes played an educational version of the game "20 questions" applying their knowledge of geographical terms to determine each others’ location. After the last student in Mrs. Glyko's class asked his question, the students were able to figure out that Mrs. Jodi Amri's third grade class was from Oregon.
Then it was Mrs. Amri's class' turn to figure out where Denton Avenue is located.
