Good Turnout at Garden City Park School BBQ

Both adults and children partook in the food and festivities.

Almost 250 people attended the family barbecue on Friday afternoon, according to Kay Farrell, one of the event's co-chairs.

The purpose of this barbecue, which included food, music and entertainment, was to "get everyone together with their family and enjoy," explained Co-chair Trish Zois. The school's PTA runs the event.

The BBQ is also a celebration of the near end of the school year.
