Girls varsity soccer team makes parody of popular viral song.

The Herricks 2012 Varsity Girls Soccer team took a day out of their schedules to film a parody of the popular musical hit “Gangnam Style” on the field at Herricks High School, eventually posting it online.

The song, which has gone viral on the internet world-wide since its August 2012 debut, is performed by South Korean artist Psy and became the most “liked” video in YouTube history on Sept. 20, 2012.

The word “Gangnam” refers to a lifestyle people enjoy in a district of Seoul, South Korea where the residents are hip trendy and exude a certain type of “class,” typically living a very lavish lifestyle.
