Herricks Middle School String Quartets Play Lincoln Center
Seventh and eighth graders selected to perform in the Young Ensembles Concert.
Three string quartets from Herricks Middle School were recently honored by being selected to perform in the Young Ensembles Concert at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
Besides working closely with their teacher and orchestra director Krista Weis, the students receive two coaching sessions with professional musicians from the Society prior to their concert in May.
Seventh grade students include Esme Chen, Jazlynn Fok, Irene Jung, Dawn Kim, Elizabeth Kim, Kelly Kim, Andrew Lam, and Emily Wang. Eighth grade students include Stacey Kim, Setu Mehta, Natalie Tan and Kelly Yu.
