Legis. Bosworth Reads to Denton Avenue Students
Kindergarten students share Dr. Seuss story on Read Across America Day.
Nassau County Legis. Judi Bosworth, D-Manhasset, participated in the National Education Association’s Read Across America program in the Herricks School District at the in New Hyde Park Wednesday, reading to kindergarteners in teacher Beth Rosenman’s class.
Read Across America is an annual reading awareness program that coincides with the birthday of Dr. Seuss on March 2. The program was initiated on March 2, 1998. You can read more about “Read Across America” and the NEA online at www.nea.org.
