Manor Oaks School students participated in a special kind of field day this year; a Hawaiian themed field day. The event was organized by physical education teacher Lisa Innella.

The students and staff dressed up to go along with the theme by wearing floral print, grass skirts, flowers, and some even got creative and made their own props and outfits.

The PTA purchased leis and Italian ices for every student in the school to enjoy.  Some of the activities the students participated in were, beach volleyball, something fishy, beach ball bounce, coconut carry, aloha hop and so much more.

The event ended with a big luau dance party. The students are already looking forward to next year’s field day which will have a whole new theme.
