New Hyde Park High Gets Middle States Re-Accreditation

The school has been accredited since 1989.

To achieve re-accreditation, schools have to complete an evaluation process and a visit that lasts multiple days from regional educators appointed by Middle States, according to the Philadelphia-based accreditation group. The visit involves interviews with administrators, teachers, parents and students, among others.

There are more than 3,600 schools that have accreditation from the Middle States Association in the mid-Atlantic region and in more than 80 countries around the world, the group said.
