Five students from New Hyde Park Memorial High School recently competed in a Math Tournament for 7th and 8th graders sponsored by MO Math at Kellenberg High School in Uniondale.
The team members included Mark Niewierowski, Marty Koch, Daniel Celic, Saumya Sharma, and Ryan Moon.
New Hyde Park Memorial placed first in the team round and Ryan Moon placed first in the individual competition.
The advisors for the group are Ellen Van Wie and Vincent Maltese.
