New Hyde Park Students Place in Foreign Language Poster Contest
Three students place in 2013 Long Island Language Poster Contest.
New Hyde Park Memorial High School freshman Ashley Thomas recently placed second in the Annual Long Island Language Poster Contest, which is sponsored by Long Island Language Teachers.
This year the contest theme was "Be Inspired, Learn Another Language."
Receiving honorable mentions were senior Olivia Chan and junior Reem Ahmed.
