NHP-GCP, Herricks Schools Earn Reward Status from NY State
Three schools from NHP-GCP and one from Herricks commended for academic achievement.
Schools in the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park and the Herricks School Districts were among 67 schools across Nassau and Suffolk Counties classified as “reward schools,” Newsday reported.
They were commended for their academic achievement by New York State.
The Center Street School in Herricks as well as the , , and s were invited to compete for up to $150,000 in grants.
