The kids participated in anti-bullying messages, positive self-esteem activities and more.

If you're concerned with your Accompsett Elementary School kids learning the importance of “Doing the Right Thing," you could rest easier knowing the school is preparing them with character building activities.

The school recently held two assemblies for character education: “Doing the Right Thing," which was held for third, fourth and fifth graders; and “Golden Rules," which was held for kindergarten students up to second graders. The assemblies utilized songs and discussions including anti-bullying messages, positive self-esteem and more.

Team Dawg is a unique and effective character education program that also does workshops and authors children's books on subjects such as bullying. It makes us smile to see students, such as these at Acompsett, have the opportunity to participate in programs that will enrich their character as well as their studies.
