Reading with Denton Avenue Third Graders
Nassau Legis. Judi Bosworth reads to third graders as part of Earth Day events.
Recently Herricks third grade students at the Denton Avenue Elementary School had a visit from Nassau County Legis. Judi Bosworth, D-Great Neck, who read the book “The Garbage Barge” to them as part of the school's “Read Across America” program on April 10.
The theme for the event was “Earth Day.”
Bosworth has been sponsoring hearings on protecting the Long Island aquifer and preserving the quality of our drinking water.
