Sewanhaka and School District board member Joan Romagnoli was honored on March 26 at the Scope 11th Annual School District Awards dinner.
At the outset of Tuesday night’s meeting of the Sewanhaka Board of Education at , Superintendent noted this achievement.
Romagnoli has been a member of the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park district’s board for the past 8 years and served as part of the Sewanhaka board for six. She is also a registered nurse.
A booklet given out during the presentation stated that Romagnoli “is a Shining Star for our District always keeping the whole child in focus especially to be strong, not only in mind but also in body.”
