Some of the best photos from the 2013 New Hyde Park Homecoming festivities.
New Hyde Park Memorial High School held their annual homecoming day parade this past Saturday through the streets of New Hyde Park before the start of the traditional football game at the high school.
The parade began at the parking lot on Lakeville Road before heading east on Jericho Turnpike, turning north on New Hyde Park Road and headed east toward Leonard Boulevard and south past the front of New Hyde Park Memorial High School.
Though the Gladiators mounted an epic comeback against Manhasset, they fell one touchdown short. The theme of the parade and halftime show was traditional board games played by the students, including classics like Monopoly, Operation, Candy Land, Mousetrap, Life and Hungry, Hungry Hippos.
The homecoming court was made up of king Jerryl Abraham and queen Marisa Bartos, as well as Gabrielle Alicea, Kayla Buff, Anthony D'Ammassa, Christopher Ferlazzo, Hassan Fuller, Katherine Kariotis, Samantha Longo and Michael Zonrberg.
