In December the Herricks students at the Searingtown School were asked to wear their Searingtown T- shirts, which they received on the first day of school to show their school spirit.
The students were also asked to participate in the annual Brain Challenge program, courtesy of the Searingtown PTA. In Brain Challenge, the classes are broken down by grade into two teams and answer questions according to their grade level. The game is based on Jeopardy, complete with an answer buzzer.
The students had a fantastic time playing and competing and we are happy to know theyare also learning new things and was a great way for the students to end 2012.
