Two Herricks High School students have been named as semi-finalists to the Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology, a teen science competition.

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 , the Siemens Foundation will announce the individual and team winners and present them with scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.

The Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology recognizes remarkable talent early on, fostering individual growth for high school students who are willing to challenge themselves through science research.

The competition gives students an opportunity to achieve national recognition for science research projects that they complete in high school. It is administered by The College Board and funded by the Siemens Foundation.
