First Annual NHP Lacrosse Alumni Classic

On Saturday, April 7, New Hyde Park will host an unprecedented event, the First Annual NHP-Lacrosse Alumni Classic. A full day of Lacrosse activities including the long-awaited Alumni Game. Spectators will see Alumni from 6 Decades take part in the game. We are expecting Alumni participants and spectators from as early as 1958 including past and current coaches and teachers as well as coaches from the NHP-PAL and the LI-Park Lacrosse Club.

What is sure to be an historical day for the community as the NHP-Lacrosse Alumni has created a boys and girls scholarship to be awarded to a senior boys and girls lacrosse player who demonstrates leadership qualities both on and off the field. All proceeds from the day's events will go towards the scholarship fund.

The NHP-Dad's Club is also pitching in for the day and will open their food and refreshment stand as well as selling benefit t-shirts made for the Alumni Classic.

We encourage the NHP Memorial HS community, current students, alumni and neighbors to attend and participate in what should be a very entertaining day.

12 Noon New Hyde Park Varsity Blue v. White Scrimmage

1:15pm Free youth clinic sponsored by LI Park Lacrosse

1:30pm Fastest shot contest (youth and High-School)

3pm Youth PAL game, NHP- v. Floral Park (4th and
5th Grade)

4:30-5pm(start) Alumni Classic Game (Alumni from the 50's thru 2011)
