New Hyde Park, Garden City Park Residents Compete in 2013 Oyster Bay Triathlon
Diane Schubert and Ned Daily finish third in respective categories.
New Hyde Park and Garden City Park residents showed off their strength and endurance over the weekend in the Town of Oyster Bay triathlon Saturday.
New Hyde Park resident Diane Schubert, 59, was the third female finisher in the 55-59 female age bracket in Saturday's event with a time of 01:25:34.87. She turned in a swimming time of 00:21:04.96, a cycling time of 00:31:37.68 and a running time of 00:29:01.62.
Ned Daily, 55, of Garden City Park, finished third in the Men's Masters category with a time of 01:05:54.59. He turned in a swimming time of 00:16:33.25, a cycling time of 00:25:27.74 and a running time of 00:21:50.67.
The overall men's winner was Tom Eicklberg, 24, of Cortland, NY, who finished the triathlon in 00:56:17.83.
