The this season learned how to use the resources they have at their disposal -- like a strong center in Ciara McCullagh, a great rebounder in Maria Katsoulis and good ballhandlers like Lexi Peveraro and Gabby Tomasini.
Head Coach Hugh Flaherty said many a time early on in the season that his team needed to work on their turnovers. He as well as game spectators have seen an improvement in that area.
When he was interviewed for the girls basketball preview, Flaherty said, "I think we're going to surprise some people." Whether his team's performance this year was surprising or not, here the girls are at the playoffs.
