New Hyde Park Native Soccer Star Up for ESPY Award
Crystal Dunn needs online votes by July 17 to win award.

A New Hyde Park native and former South Side High School soccer star can win an ESPY award if she gets enough online votes by July 17.
Crystal Dunn, a Rockville Centre resident who attends University of North Carolina, is up for the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly award in the “Best Female College Athlete” category. Dunn also plays for the Women's National Soccer Team.
“Please vote for her, she is a great girl and a player like I have never seen before,” said Patricia Beaumont, her high school coach.
