VIDEO: New Hyde Park Little League Parade Begins 2012 Season

2012 little league season kicks off at Nuzzi Field.

After athletes, parents and coaches all marched down to Nuzzi Field this past Saturday, concluding the annual little league parade, New Hyde Park Little League President Tom Pellegrino officially announced the beginning of the 2012 season.

Mayor Daniel Petruccio along with village trustee Lawrence Montreuil were among those in attendance, throwing out the ceremonial first pitches.

After a long day of waving and marching, the little leaguers were also treated to Italian ices.
