How sad!! Was a great, safe, neighborhood Pub. Many great memories - met my husband there! :)
Starbucks in New Hyde Park.

I am glad that Starbucks has taken this stance because I hate to walk out the door and spill myRead More coffee because the person leaving in front of me had to stop to light up. If other people do not like coffee, then this does not effect them. As far as the NHP store goes there isn't that much free space so also a benefit. My concern is who will enforce it and how effective it will be in the only NHP store

The vague nature of your comment "because I hate to walk out the door and spill my coffeeRead More because the person leaving in front of me had to stop to" intrigued me, to waste time, to ask you, B.S., if this has happened, at all, or you just mused it, in your noggin? As you are leaving, would it matter if he stopped to salute the flag, instead, it seems you would have still bumped into him. Maybe you should pay more attention to your surroundings, and "steer clear", then you can avoid spilling your $9.XX coffee, [OK, I exaggerate, by "2 bucks", hey that rhymes with Star Bucks] so that if, a girl stops to pick her nose, or a guy lights a butt, or they forgot their change and turn around and you ram him, or you stop to look at a passing truck and some other unobservant person runs into you, you can tell S.B's to put a procedure in, to make folks more observant on their dangerous property!!! goldrush1. IMO ;-D

Very interesting. Didn't know that this was for all franchise.

That area around Macy's is extremely depressing. For years I have wondered why a developer didn'tRead More put up some more stores and restaurants. This is a good first step. There is certainly enough parking to support some extra growth.

That whole property (33 acres) is owned by Macy's
