Asya Blue, Neighbor

I've been living in Floral Park with my husband and 13 year-old daughter for 10 years. I was born in Russia and came to the U.S. when I was 8 years-old. My family first lived in Brooklyn and then moved to Queens where I went to Jamaica High School. My husband and I met while we were both attending Parsons School of Design in NYC. I'm passionate about the arts, food, and travel. I currently work as a senior graphic designer in the marketing department of an eyewear company. My job involves designing for both print and web as well as navigating the new world of social media. Outside of work, I am finding myself more and more involved in investigating the workings of our education system.
